so when can we destroy the idea that good writing = big words in clunky, convoluted sentences? because i was thinking that maybe, once we’ve destroyed this idea, we could replace it with something like “clunky, convoluted sentences and inappropriate word usage = bad writing.”

i mean, i could be wrong. but i doubt it.
